Alex is a registered clinical and sports dietitian with over a decade of experience in dietary management, working with a variety of clients looking to make changes to their nutrition plans to better benefit their lives and sports performance. She has a BSc (Hons) in Sports & Exercise Science from the University of Birmingham and a post graduate in Nutrition & Dietetics.
Alex specialises in endurance nutrition, supporting a range of athletes, from ultra distance enthusiasts, elite level junior athletes to supporting multi-day expeditions in challenging environments. She has had varied experience in the past, having worked worked with the Ministry of Defence, NHS and a number of rehabilitation and physiotherapy clinics
She is a contributor to a number of publications within the diet and fitness industries including Athletics Weekly, Running Fitness,Trail Running magazine, Fit and Well and Womans Own. She is also resident nutrition expert at UK Run Chat.
Alex is a qualified Athletics Coach with UK Athletics. She coaches her own squad with her local club Wycombe Phoenix Harriers and runs her own running groups in the local community to help individuals reach their running goals.
Alex has been a competitive runner for almost 20 years and entered the world of ultra running in 2015. Her experience in the sports helps her identify and work successfully with a number of professional and amateur athletes on improving performance through diet and nutrition.
